L’INTER CENTRES LGBT ET « AN NOU ALL ! » ASSISTENT LA
NAISSANCE DU « RAVAD »

gnrale constitutive du « Rseau d’assistance aux victimes
d’agressions et
de discriminations »)

Vendredi 13 mai
Paris, la Fdration des Centres gais & lesbiens et « An
nou all ! », CGL
Antilles-Guyane, Association des Afro-Cariben/nes
lesbiennes, gais, bi &
trans en France, participaient parmi treize
associations et formations
politiques LGBT l’assemble gnrale
constituante du RAVAD (« Rseau
d’assistance aux victimes d’agressions et de
discriminations »). Leurs
reprsentants participaient ensuite au premier
conseil d’administration de la
nouvelle association, qui s’est donn pour
objet de « soutenir et dfendre les
victimes d’agressions et de
discriminations raison de leur orientation
sexuelle, de leur identit de
genre ou de leur tat de sant, en leur
apportant une aide psychologique,
morale, juridique, judiciaire ou
autre ».
« An nou all ! » et la Fdration des CGL remercient les onze
autres
personnes morales membres fondateurs du RAVAD d’avoir accept
d’inscrire
dans ses statuts un objectif de prise en compte de la « diversit »
des
personnes (visant notamment la diversit des origines ethniques
ou
gographiques). Les associations ultramarines membres de la Fdration
(« An
nou all ! », Gay-Union et Homo-Sphre) se rjouissent avec la Fdration
que
Louis-Georges Tin, prsident du Comit IDAHO et prsident de « An
nou
all ! », ait t lu au bureau du RAVAD dans le cadre, notamment, du
respect
de cet objectif.
Par ailleurs, les associations ultramarines
membres de la Fdration
prennent connaissance d’une dpche de l’AFP relaye
mardi 17 mai par
l’Inter-LGBT et notent que le RAVAD « devrait tre
prochainement dot d’un
numro de tlphone » : « An nou all ! », Gay-Union et
Homo-Sphre
souhaiteraient que la question de l’accessibilit de ce numro
depuis la
France ultramarine, au mme tarif que depuis la France hexagonale,
soit
tudie.

Fight against
attacks and discrimination
THE FEDERATION OF GAY AND LESBIAN CENTRES AND « AN
NOU ALL ! » ARE PRESENT AT
THE BIRTH OF « RAVAD »
(INTER CENTRES LGBT
and « An nou all ! » took part in the general meeting at
which the « Support
Network for victims of all homophobic attacks and
discrimination » was
formally set up)
On Friday, the 13th of May, in Paris, the Federation of
GLCs and « An Nou
All ! » participated along with thirteen LGBT associations
and political
groups in the general meeting formally setting up RAVAD
(« Support Network
for victims of all homophobic attacks and
discrimination »).Their
representatives then took part in the first meeting of
the governing council
of the new association, whose aim is « to support and
defend victims attacked
and discriminated against by reason of their sexual
orientation, gender
identity or their health status, by offering them
psychological, moral,
legal and other forms of aid. »
The Federation of
GLCs and « An Nou All ! », the West Indies / Guyana GLC and
Association of
Afro-Caribbean lesbians, gays, bi’s and trans’ in France,
thank the eleven
other member associations for writing into the statutes of
RAVAD an objective
which takes account of the diversity of LGBT people,
especially diversity in
ethnic and geographical origin. The overseas members
of the Federation, (« An
Nou All ! », Gay-Union and Homo-Sphre), along with
the Federation, are
particularly pleased that Louis-Georges Tin, president
of the IDAHO Committee
and of « An Nou All ! », has been elected to the board
of RAVAD to deal with
this objective among other ones.
Meanwhile, the overseas members of the
Federation were aware of an AFP
dispatch forwarded by Inter-LGBT on Tuesday
17th of May, and noted that
RAVAD « is likely to be getting a telephone number
shortly ». « An nou all ! »,
Gay-Union and Homo-Sphre hope that the issue of
accessing this number from
the overseas territories of France, at the same
rate as the mainland, will
be looked at.
