Chronique du Moi et de l’inconscient, « Le Mal de Mre » est une pice psychanalytique par (excellence. Un psychanalyste orphelin tente de rsoudre ses questions existentielles: Qui suis-je ? Pourquoi suis-je l ? Que fais-je ?… Un beau jour, arrive dans son cabinet une dame d’un certain ge, qui pourrait tre sa mre, pour une consultation. Patiente tonitruante et pas facile, elle recherche plus une oreille pour l’couter, qu’une solution d’hypothtiques pro-blmes. Une thrapie pour tromper sa solitude pesante et ses angoisses, depuis la disparition de son enfant, au retour du Vit-nam. Mais, pour-quoi aller chercher, chez quelqu’un que l’on ne connat pas, une rponse un malaise intime et personnel ? Le fait de se poser la question est peut-tre dj un dbut de la rponse, mme si elle reste pour le moins incongrue tous les car-tsiens purs et durs. Et pourtant… Nombre d’entre nous sont alls, ou iront bientt, voir un psy, afin de les aider rgler un problme de leur Moi intrieur. Pierre Olivier Scotto a prf-r crire une pice sur ce thme, et a choisi Tsilla Chelton (que l’on imagine toujours sous les traits de la tyrannique Tatie Danielle) pour interprter le rle de la patiente-fantme–mre. L’volution de la pice pouse troitement le parcours de ces deux personnages, qui s’attirent et se repoussent, mais finalement, s’aiment d’un amour maternel et filial, que seule la nature peut engendrer. Tsilla Chelton donne le maximum de son nergie. Elle impo-se sa dynamique, impulse le rythme une criture recherche et intense. Le rle de cette patiente lui laisse toute latitude pour jouer avec loquence, ironie et malice. Longtemps absorbe par les ouvres de Ionesco, « le Mal de Mre » lui offre un personnage en or, o elle laisse clater son bonheur de jouer et nous comble de plaisir.

What do I make?… A beautiful day, arrives in its cabinet a lady of a certain age, which could be his/her mother, for a consultation. Patient thundering and not easy, it seeks more one ear to listen to it, that a solution with hypothetical problems. A therapy to mislead its heavy loneliness and its anguishes, since the disappearance of his/her child, with the return of Vit-nam. But, why go to seek, in somebody whom one does not know, a response to a faintness intimate and personal . The fact of putting the question is perhaps already a beginning of the answer, even if it remains at the very least incongruous with all Cartesian pure the and hard ones. And yet… Numbers among us went, or will go soon, to see a psychiatrist, in order to help them to regulate a problem of their Me interior. Pierre Olivier Scotto preferred to write a part on this topic, and chose Tsilla Chelton (which one always imagines under the features of tyrannical Tatie Danielle) to interpret the role of the patient-phantom — mother. The evolution of the part narrowly marries the course of these two characters, who attract each other and push back themselves, but finally, like of a maternal love and subsidiary, which only nature can generate. Tsilla Chelton gives the maximum of its energy. It imposes its dynamics, impels the rate/rhythm with a required and intense writing. The role of this patient leaves him any latitude to play with eloquence, irony and mischievousness. A long time absorptive by works of Ionesco, » the Evil of Mother » offers a gold character to him, where it lets burst her happiness to play and fills us pleasure.
