L’Evnement du Jeudi (18/6/98) :
L’EDJ a consacr un dossier de quinze pages sur le mariage gay, et titrait : « Famille homo : le der-nier tabou ». Tmoignages, repor-tages et un sondage qui nous apprend que 54% des Franais ne sont pas favorables un mariage gay, contre 37% qui y sont favo-rables. 59% des Franais sont galement contre l’adoption d’un enfant par un couple de les-biennes contre 34% qui n’y voient pas d’inconvnient. Petite nuan-ce : 63% des personnes inter-roges sont dfavorables l’adoption par un couple d’homo-sexuels, alors que 29% n’y sont pas opposes. Enfin, 49% des Franais sont favorables au PACS. A noter que les colos et les com-munistes sont les seuls approuver majoritairement le mariage homosexuel. Les lecteurs de l’UDF y sont les plus farouche-ment opposs, ce qui ne surpren-dra personne.
La Vie (18/6/98)
Dans cet autre hebdomadaire chrtien, les pds ne sont pas en odeur de saintet. C’est l’angle de la psychanalyse qui a t choisi (l’homosexualit est forcment une maladie mentale) pour ten-ter de cerner le sujet, avec une interview de Philippe Julien. Pour une fois, La Vie n’a pas eu recours aux services de son psy homophobe prfr Tony Anatrella, et doit un peu le regretter. En effet, Phili-pe Julien n’a pas t aussi rac-tionnaire que prvu. Lorsque le journaliste lui demande si » L’ar-gument qui consiste dnoncer une sexualit « contre-nature » est–il recevable ? » , le psy rpond : » La sexualit est diverse, partielle. Elle est parpille, dans le regard, dans la voix (..) Il n’y a pas de sexualit non perverse. On ne peut pas dire que des homosexuels qu’ils sont des pervers, parce que nous le sommes tous. » Bien que Philippe Julien pense qu’un enfant lev par des parents de mme sexe ne pourra jamais devenir autonome, il affirme que: » Gays et lesbiennes demandent en ralit que l’institution spcifique de leur vie commune soit recon-nue comme normale, tout autant que la normalit du mariage tra-ditionnel Ce ne sont pas unique-ment les aspects gestionnaires qui les intressent, mais une recon-naissance en tant que couple. »
Marianne (15/6/98) :
Jean-Franois Kahn a un avis sur tout et ne sait pas quoi dire pour se mettre en valeur : » On ne convaincra les Franais de l’avan-ce que reprsente le Contrat d’Union Civique que si on ne cherche pas, cote que cote, le faire ressembler un mariage ou un sous-mariage homosexuel. Il ne faudrait pas que la « saga de la libration homosexuelle » se transforme en terrorisme gay. »
L’Humanit Hebdo (18/6/98) :
Grand revirement pour le parti communiste qui serait subite-ment devenu un ardent dfen-seur de la cause gay. Interview de Serge Guichard, membre du Comit national du parti commu-niste propos de la rencontre rcente qui a eu lieu Draveil entre le PC et les associations gay. Serge Guichard dclare : » La lutte contre les discriminations, quelles qu’elles soient, le respect du choix des individus (..) fait partie de la dimension politique. (..) L’acte politique qui marque la reconnaissance du couple homosexuel et l’galit de droits de toutes et tous devant la loi, quel que soit le mode de vie, ne doit pas disparatre. »
Tmoignage Chrtien (18/6/98) :
La rubrique » Grand angle » de Tmoignage Chrtien est consa-cre l’union homosexuelle avec ce titre en double page centrale : » Couples homosexuels cherchent reconnaissance… » Un rappel des diffrents projets et l’opinion a de nombreuses personnalits du monde gay. Intressant tour de piste historique des projets d’union avec le sociologue Alain Touraine : » Le PACS va dans le bon sens. »
The Event of Thursday (18/6/98): The EDJ devoted a file of fifteen pages on the gay marriage, and titrated: » homo Family: the last taboo « . Testimonys, reports and a survey which teaches us that 54% of the French do not favour a gay marriage, against 37% which are favorable there. 59% of the French are also against the adoption of a child by a couple of lesbians against 34% who do not see there a disadvantage. Small nuan this: 63% of the questioned people are unfavourable with the adoption by a couple the homosexual ones, whereas 29% are not opposite there. Lastly, 49% of the French are favorable to the PACS. It should be noted that the ecologists and the Communists are the only ones to approve the homosexual marriage mainly. The voters of the UDF are most savagely opposed there, which will not surprise anybody.
The Life (18/6/98) In this other Christian weekly magazine, pds is not in odor of holiness. It is the angle of the psychoanalysis which was selected (homosexuality is inevitably a mental illness) to try to determine the subject, with an interview of Philippe Julien. For once, the Life did not have recourse to the services of its psychiatrist homophobe preferred Tony Anatrella, and must a little regret it. Indeed, Phili-cEp Julien was not as reactionary as envisaged. When the journalist asks to him whether » the argument which consists in denouncing a sexuality » against-nature » is — it admissible? » , the psychiatrist answers: » sexuality is various, partial. It is scattered, in the glance, the voice (..) It does not have there nonperverse sexuality. One cannot say only the homosexual ones that they are of the perverts, because we are to it all » Although Philippe Julien thinks that a child raised by of the same parents sex will be able to never become autonomous, it affirms that: » Gay and lesbians actually ask that the specific institution of their common life is recognized like normal, very as much as the normality of the traditional marriage In fact only the administrative aspects interest them, but a recognition as a couple »
Marianne (15/6/98): Jean-Franois Kahn has an opinion on all and does not know what to say to emphasize itself: » One will not convince the French of the projection which represents the Civic Contract of Union only if one does not seek, costs whom costs, to make it resemble a marriage or a homosexual under-marriage. Humanity Hebdo (18/6/98): Great reversal for the Communist Party which would have suddenly become a burning defender of the gay cause. Interview of Serge Guichard, member of the national Committee of the Communist Party in connection with the recent meeting which took place with Draveil between the PC and associations gay. Serge Guichard declares: **time-out** » The fight against the discrimination, whatever they be, the respect of choice of individual (..) form part of dimension political (..) The act political which mark the recognition of couple homosexual and the equality of right of all and all in front of the law, whatever the way of life de vie, must not disappear »
